The ADAA provides home study continuing education courses for all dental assistants on a wide range of topics from infection control and radiology to practice management and tobacco cessation.
Upon successful completion of the courses, dental assistants earn credit for certification and most state requirements.

ADAA online exams are available 24/7 and consist of written text and a post test. To earn CE credits, one must take the online test and successfully pass the exam. A certificate of completion will then be available online for you to print and keep for your records.
Each online course is downloadable to your computer or viewable anytime you login to the www.ADAA1.com website.
With an online account, online purchases are stored online for your records, as well as certificates for courses you've completed. You can print them anytime! ADAA keeps track of these things so you never lose them!
ADAA online accounts are free and easy to create! Courses purchased online are available to you for viewing within 24-48 business hours. Best of all, online test grading is done instantly!
ADAA workbook courses consists of written text and a post-test. To earn CE credits, the post-test is sent in to the ADAA for grading. You keep the workbook for future reference.

Returns & Exchanges:
If you are not completely satisfied with your ADAA product, simply return it within 30 days with your reason for return and let us know if you would like a refund, replacement or exchange. Materials must be received in salable condition and shipping prepaid. Upon return, an $8.00 restocking fee will be assessed per order, unless otherwise noted. On orders of three or more courses, there will be an $11 restocking fee assessed. Course prices are subject to change without notice. All foreign orders must be paid with U.S. currency. Additional shipping and handling fees will be applied to destinations outside the U.S.
All decisions are at the ADAA's discretion.
Online Return Policy
Orders placed online are processed instantly and are available almost immediately. ADAA online courses are nonrefundable, no exceptions.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery for courses ordered via phone, mail or fax. Rush orders cannot be accepted. Make checks and money orders payable to American Dental Assistants Association or ADAA.
All ADAA courses are approved for continuing education credits by the Dental Assisting National Board and state dental boards for certification and registration renewal. Dental practice management courses are not approved for credit by the California Board of Dental Examiners. A second edition of a course will be accepted for credit even if you have already received credit for the first edition.
Only tests for courses currently produced by the ADAA will be accepted for grading. Due to revisions and updating of courses, we recommmend that the course be taken within a year of purchase. Only the original answer sheet will be accepted for grading, no photocopies allowed.
Courses purchased after January 15, 2010 carry no grading fee. A $10 grading fee is required for special offer courses and purchases prior to January 15, 2010. If you have any questions regarding the fee, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
